Departing from stories which are mostly out of the range of our sight, I use photography to investigate the social, environmental and economic relationships between society and the ground we live on. Often starting from historical events as well as personal observations, I enter my topics as a researcher and exit them as a narrator combining photography and videos to reanimate their surviving traces.
My work intends to make other people understand how the environment built upon our ground, plays a crucial role in our experiences, memories and our own identities.
To achieve that, I open a dialogue between our past and present, revealing the grand narrative we all are part of.
